It’s been a few weeks since I wrote on the blog, but I wanted to update you on my life, where I’ve been, and my next adventure regarding writing.
The First Life Update: I Moved!

After 12 years, I left my home when my landlord passed away.
One hundred sixty-four will always have a special place in my heart!
It was quite a journey, but God has been faithful through it all.
And, my new home kind of fell into my lap.
I wanted to share that backstory with you to encourage you in whatever you’re going through.
When my previous landlord got sick before he passed away, I texted my friend.
I texted her and asked her to pray for my landlord, knowing things weren’t good. I also mentioned to her that I wasn’t sure what would happen to my home, but I just wanted prayers for my landlord.
During our text conversation, she told me about an apartment she had that was available. I wasn’t asking about her apartment, nor did I remember she had one.
Before my landlord passed away, I felt like the Lord was telling me I would move.
I got scared and nervous because I haven’t moved in 12 years!!!

So I texted my friend, to see what the apartment looked like.
Now, rent these days is super high, so that was a concern of mine. And I also wanted a place where I could have Jake, my dog, and be in the same community that I have grown to love.
Fast forward a few months, and I now live in my friend’s apartment!
I now live on a ton a of land, and my apartment is a major upgrade from what I had before, but moving was no small feat.
My siblings came to help me move, and we moved on a Sunday, my only day off from work.
Second Life Update: We Are Debt-Free
That brings me to another point. I have worked non-stop these last few months to save for the move and pay off my debt.
When you read this, I should be close to being debt-free if not completely debt-free. Goodbye $95,000, and I’m sure my dog will love not having his milk-bones broken in half anymore.
Last Life Update: A New Book Is Coming Soon

The last update I wanted to share is that I’m slowly working on my 4th book, which I hope to release later this year or early 2026.
This book is nothing like anything I have ever written before, but I love it so much already. I could share all the details with you now, but what fun would that be? However, I do plan to give a few hints in the upcoming months in my blog posts and on social media—so stay tuned!
So if you on a journey like mine, I want to encourage you to let go of the fears and step out in faith.
Endings don’t always have to be broken; they can be beautiful.
