When God Makes Surprises: We Have A New Store

Faith/Encouragement

Do you ever wonder if God makes surprises? Well, I’m here to tell you it happened, and it happened to me. One minute, I’m having a conversation about wanting to open a new store, and the next, I’m sending a direct message to the store owner.

Here is the back story

Jada from Trinity Collectives (you can shop her store here) bought a bookcase from me on Facebook Marketplace, and we have stayed in touch. (It’s because she is so kind and answers all of my questions.)

Jada is a small business owner passionate about supporting other women-owned businesses.

So when she approached me about selling my journals at one of her stores, I jumped on it!

I could reach a bigger audience and help Jada at the same time.

But while Jada was picking up the journals from my house, she told me about the opening of State Street Boutique.

I Sometimes Think God Has A Sense Of Humor

After Jada left my house, I directly messaged Gretchen from State Street Boutique.

Gretchen is also a small business owner and owns Crafted By Faith, which sells right next to my little shop at Artisan Mill Co. (Small World!)

If you are counting or maybe aren’t sure how many stores we have, we have three storefronts now, and they are:

Oh, and we sell online!!!

State Street is our new store, and it’s right in Ephrata on, you guessed it, State Street.

It’s funny how things work out.

Sometimes we just need to let God do his thing.

Conclusion

I often think that when we let God do his thing, doors open that we never thought would, or opportunities just fall on our laps.

We see jobs become available, new spaces, business opportunities, and relationships open.

It may not always look like what we thought, but it does look like what we need from God.

So next time, just let God do his thing and let him make surprises for you.

P.S. If you are in Ephrata, stop by State Street Boutique. They officially open this August 23rd!
