So often, I hear, “If God wants me to do this, he will make a move for me.”
Do you want to know my thoughts?
False!
And here is why.
Esther Era
A few weeks ago, I talked about how I’m in my “Esther Era,” and because of that little saying, I decided to put it on a sticker. If you want to read about it, click here.
I also continued my Esther era and decided to drop my book off at Pebbles and Lace after I had a conversation with a friend about the boutique.
Fun fact: If you didn’t know, they are a Christian vendor store in Lampeter.
I met with the owner and introduced myself (so nervous!).
But I told her about myself, my book, and my extra small business.
I gave her a copy of my book, and a few days later, I received this text message:.
“Hi Ashley, I wanted to let you know that I would love to carry your books at Pebbles & Lace.”
Did God Make The Move For You?
God did not make the move for me; he opened the door. However, I also had to make the move like Queen Esther did.
Sometimes, stepping out in our Esther era can be scary, intimidating, and slightly awkward.
But you know what I find more scary, intimidating, and awkward? Not stepping out at all.
So you want to step into your Esther Era, but how do you do that?
So let’s go back to our girl, Queen Esther.
If you look at her story, she did the following things:
- She trusted God
- She stepped out in faith
- She had complicated conversations
- She believed even when the bad circumstances seemed to outweigh the good
- She saved her people
Your Esther era might not “save people,” or it could, but it just might save you.
It might save your calling and your gifts and help many more people than you ever think or imagine.
So, let’s step into our Esther Era. If you are interested in the book, The Broken Until Now Devotional, it’s now available at Pebbles and Lace Boutique. Plus, they have so many other cute vendors, and there is a place to eat below the boutique.
